01 Jul ODP 2017
I have been busy with the Florida Olympic Development Program this summer. We are preparing for the Alabama showcase. For those who are not familiar with the ODP it is basically a year-long tryout for the US national teams. Players make teams starting at the most basic the Florida player pool. Then players try and make one of the state teams and then hope to have the opportunity to play in front of regional and maybe national team coaches. Here are a few pictures and clips of what we have been up to.
A typical ODP weekend includes training in the morning, a break for lunch, which is always Chilli’s, and scrimmages in the afternoon.
Here we are training in the morning. This is a course to help with footwork and foot speed.
This is Barnabus. Love this guys accent. Half time scrimmage pep-talk on defense.
